Bazz and the Shiretones The Story
How It All Began
For the first time ever, Bazz has created a solo album that reflects his personal life and thoughts while growing up on the West Coast of Scotland. He is a distinctive singer song writer, who has been covertly influential in the Ayrshire music scene for nearly 40 years. Yet his music retains a timeless appeal.
The ShireTones are not a band; rather, they are an ever changing musical collective, brought together by Bazz to express his thoughts and life experiences through song.
He seeks to collaborate with other musicians to achieve the correct mix of creative energies for each song he records. This means there is a forever changing line-up of inspired talent in the Nicolsound studio located in Central Scotland.
Bazz has played in various bands from glam rock to punk to pop. However, privately, he has always written folk style country music because he felt that was befitting his baritone voice and it was a genre that best suited his desire to express his inner feelings.
Currently, Bazz and the ShireTones are back in the Nicolsound studio working on a second album. This will be a more stripped down, bare bones affair that they can take on the road.
Bazz and the ShireTones have a clear vision, to bring those who enjoy their music together to form a collective. He feels they should have an input rather than be passive observers and listeners. So join the ever growing circle of like minded lovers of this brand of folk country. Tune in, take part and chill out.

Adrian Conner, solo artist and Angus Young in the legendary Hell’s Belles, joins forces with Clementine, Bonzo in the legendary Zepparella, to create music that is neither AC,DC nor Led Zeppelin.
Brought together in 2015 by their own personal love of songs past and future, Clementine and Adrian began trading audio files from San Francisco to Austin in collaboration.
Culminating in an exquisite nine tracks that place one foot in the future with electronic textured instruments, and the other foot in the roots of 70’s rock where guitar and monster drums reigned supreme.
With its lyrical celebration and danceable beats, Clementine and Adrian have found themselves creating Dream Pop.
The album Ro Sham Bo, the debut full-length release, was released in early 2018.

The Impersonators came into being after the demise of Finnish pop, rock band Carmen Gray in 2013 when Tommi Tikka, the other half of Carmen Gray’s songwriting team, joined forces with lyricist Antti Autio to write some new songs.
While Carmen Gray had recorded for major labels, such as Sony and Warner, the Impersonators’ story was going to be different from the get-go. With this particular group, Tikka wanted to have complete artistic control over the songs he recorded to avoid generic and sterile production typical for modern pop, rock.
For most of 2014, Tikka auditioned musicians for the new group. However, after three failed attempts to put together a lineup that did justice to the new songs, he decided to play all the parts himself. With that decision, the Impersonators became a group of two songwriters rather than a group of four or five musicians – with Antti in charge of the lyrics and Tommi in charge of the music.
The best way to describe the sound of the Impersonators is to call it sixties-flavored ”alternative pop, rock”. Their goal is to nurture and cultivate the creativity, spirit, and warmth that graced the pop records of yesteryears.
